Acroread Problem

Yes, I realize that, but even without nppdf.so anywhere on my system FireFox was still opening acroread in the browser window, not as a separate app.

In any case, I solved the problem by uninstalling the acroread rpm and installed acroread for the tarball on Abode's download site.  Now I can run acroread for those situations where it is useful and still have FireFox use xpdf in the browser, where it is so much faster to load. And doesn't seem to loose its settings the way acroread did.  It seemed every time acroread opened, I'd end up changing things back the way I wanted.
