bidirectional printing..

Hi,

I have a canon BJC 3000 ink printer that only wants to print in one 
direction which means its SLOW!!

The printer is connected to a Windows 2000 server..

I have changed to the BJC6000 drive as recommended for better quality 
but I can't find any way to enable bidirectional printing.. It somehow 
started printing bidirectionally when I had RH9 but I have no idea what 
I did (if anything)..

Anyone got any ideas?
