Hello List,

I installed xine recently on Fedora core1 with rpms from 
http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/ as the updated xine rpms from 
freshrpms.net fail on dependencies.Install without problem.A xine-check 
reports no problem either.Xine window and UI come up nicely too.But when 
VCD is tried to run from gui(clicking on the button)information about vcd 
should appear and playback should begin which doesn't happen.

When a command is issued I get following error messgaes:

I do not find any file or directory '.xitkrc '

What is this message and what can be done ? Could anybody share ideas ?
