setting up linux gateway/router

hi all..
i m not able to setup my Fedora linux box as a gateway/router.
I have two ethernet interfaces eth0 , eth1.
the internal network(192.168.0.0) is connected to eth0(192.168.0.1). 
eth1(192.9.44.100) is connects the other network 192.9.44.0
My internal network (192.168.0.0) doesnt recognise the 192.9.44.0 network or any other system on the internet.

plz help...
