There's an online version of TurboTax that works fine with Mozilla and
friends.  You'll never see a free tax package, because (a) the tax laws
in any country you choose to look at are so complex that it requires a
huge team of lawyers, accountants and programmers for TurboTax in the US
alone and (b) the liability implications of getting anything wrong are
huge.
