RES: Wine - does it really work?

I've tried wine to run some win apps, and runs perfectly. At least on
the more simple apps. The more complex really i can't run.
I've opened:
Winamp (with some bugs, but useful)
Notepad (perfect)
Calc (perfect)
Counter-strike (absolutely bugged. No run anyway hehehehe)

And some other apps, but only for play. Not for stable use.
