applet errors with mirror, up2date correct

While up2date works fine with FC1, the applet, that's supposed to warn
me of updates (and it did when I used the central repository) has
stopped warning when I started using a mirror. It always has the green
"OK"-button and when I open it, it shows a bit of "critical information"
as follows:

"
The applet has been unable to access the following information sources
in its last attempts: nluug-fedora-core-1 @
ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/fedora/1/i386/os,
nluug-fedora-updates-released @
ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/fedora/updates/1/i386
"
<Typed this, because cut/paste from the RHN alert notification tool
doesn't work (?)>

However, subsequently running up2date shows all updates and I can update
all correctly.

Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong?

Guus.
