Try giving a full path for tree.

  $ /usr/bin/tree

If tree is absent then it may not be installed
On this box I can tell you ....
   $ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/bin/tree

So, you can install 'tree' like this.

   $ up2date install tree

Same drill:
  $ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/sbin/groupadd

You can install shadow-util like this from a command line:

   $ up2date install  shadow-utils
   $ yum install  shadow-utils

	/dev/null the ultimate in secure storage.
