Yes. In fact, you should be able to do a minimal install from just the first
one. (Very minimal.)

If you have a relatively fast net connection (DSL will do), one option is to
wait until the initial frenzy dies down a bit, and then do an FTP or HTTP
install from one of the mirrors -- that way, you'll just download the exact
packages you need.
