XFree86 gone from Fedora Core? WHY!?

~    My main gripe is that nvidia support seems to have vanished.  I
know that people want the software to progress and that some things
inevitably break in compatibility, but I would think that video
support is the very *last* thing you'd want to break, considering the
fact that if your video breaks, it's pretty much "game over".
