FC2 USB Mouee + Sound = useless mouse

Hey all, just thought I'd post this,
got FC2 installed on my Acer Aspire 1501
only problem I am having is when I start listening to music in xmms my usb 
mouse stops working

here's what the syslog is saying:

now what is odd is that this only happens while my wireless button is 
enabled(drivers are not installed yet for the actual wireless card)


any suggestions?
