Ah, ok, getting it now, slow brainday, sorry :-)
The installer on the FC2 disks won't be using the Xserver on your HDD,
so yeah, during the installation it'll be using the 'nv'
driver. I'm not entirely sure how it will behave after the
installation though, but my guess is it will rewrite the X config
file and keep using the 'nv' driver until you recompile the Nvidia one.
