Core 1 hangs on booting at Freeing unused kernel memory

I have some Epia 5000 Eden (fanless) series boards here and they've all
come up as i686 kernels during the install. (I haven't checked, but I'm
assuming the 6k series is newer and should be i686 as well)

I don't know for sure, but that might be the problem.
