release note core 2 and asus p4p800 MB

I read that there may be problem at boot with an p4p800 MB from Asus.
I just bought a new system with a P4 2.8, 2Gb RAM, and 4 120GB disks.

And now i can't install the new release 2????

Is someone already working on this problem, mentioned in the bugzilla 
database.

On kernel.org I don't find anything about a p4p800 patch.

Is there a workaround??
