[FC1] Can't start the X server anymore... What can I do??

First step to fix the X issue would be to look into
/var/log/XFree86.0.log for error messages.

Depends on you ppp connection. For ADSL you could use "adsl-start" to
connect. Else try "ifup ppp0".

To get the ISO image file use "wget -c
ftp://ftp.server.of.your.choice/path/FC2-i386-disk4.iso".

To burn it run "cdrecord -v FC2-i386-disk4.iso", given that you
configured /etc/cdrecord.conf to know about your burner device. To know
which device it is run "cdrecord -scanbus".
