FC2 installation problem.

I seem to have a tip which may work pl. try it out :
Remove 'gpm' and the whel mouse starts working.
Alternately, invoke redhat-config-mouse and select under Microsoft>Intellimouse  (or) select Generic>>Wheel Mouse
Then restart X, mouse works.
