Usb Scanner in Fedora 2?

I reported this as bug #122332 
<https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=122332> , its 
currently assigned.  I think this might be because, in general, USB 
seems to be having problems in FC2.  For example, I am having problems 
with my USB flash disks too.  Hopefully a patch comes out soon for it.
