I've installed FC3 on two different machines and both machines have
given this funky error when you tell it remove previous linux partitions
and click next. These two machines both are dual-boot with xp and FC. I
got by the error by doing a manual partitioning.

the error is

"
error partitioning
Could not allocate requested partitions
Unsatisfied partition request
New Part Request: -- mount point: None uniqueID:8
type physical volume (LVM) format:1 badblocks:None
device:None drive ['hdc'] primary:None
start:None end:None migrate:None origfstype:None
"

anyone else seeing this, should this be bug?

machines are
1. Dell Inspiron 1100 20gig hd 2.0ghz celeron intel 845chip set

2. Soyo MB 2.8ghz HT Intel, 60gig SATA HD, 80gig IDE HD

--

And it did take 5 times to install FC3 on the #2 machine because FC3
didn't like being put on the IDE drive.
