Beyond doubt, vi is the best of all cli editors. Been using it for
years. Thing is (At least for me.), I can't see the point of having a
gui desktop if basic tools included with the desktop can't be used as
su. OTOH, if you don't understand the system at the cli and can't use
cli tools like vi and your system gets hoarked, your done (Or close to
done...).
