2.6.9 problems

The update to kernel 2.6.9-1.3_FC2 broke (at least) two things for me:
1. NFS mounts from an FC2 client to an FC1 server hang: the mount
succeeds but accesses like ls wait forever.
2. Power down at system shutdown doesn't work any longer on either
desktop or laptop machines.
Switching back to the 2.6.8-1.521 kernel with no other system changes
fixes both problems. I couldn't seem to find any references to these
problems on Bugzilla or the list archives.
