Hi,
Using FC3, I created fstab entries for 2 extra partitions on my system,
one is an ext3 for media files (music, movies, etc.) and the other one
is a vfat for a Windows XP installation.
The partitions showed up in the Computer window and I can (un)mount them
without any problem but the icons doesnt show up in the desktop when
mounting (FC2 used to work right). I checked:
/apps/nautilus/desktop/volumes_visible in gconf and it is set to true.
Even so, they doesnt show up in the desktop... what can I do to fix
this? I ran out of ideas.
Searching bugzilla I found this bug that is not exactly the same but it
is very close:
[] http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=139193
These are my corresponding entires in /etc/fstab:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/c vfat
defaults,user,noauto,umask=0 0 0
LABEL=/mnt/media /mnt/media ext3
defaults,user,noauto 1 2
Any help will be appreciated... thanx,
-William
