FC3 Seems to "Freeze" sometimes

I have a similar but probably unrelated problem: Every once i a while, 
without any apparent reason, the monitor blacks out for a couple of 
seconds (as if I had turned it off) and then comes back. I've never 
notice that before installing FC3.
