USB mouse and FC 3

Hello everyone,

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 laptop, just pulled down FC3 and
installed it, runs great except I can't get my USB mouse to work.  The
eraser pointer works fine.

I'm seeing errors like this in my /var/log/messages

hub 2-0:1.0: USB hub found
hub 2-0:1.0: 2 ports detected
usb 1-2: new low speed USB device using address 2

<lots of stuff>

usb 1-2: control timeout on ep0in
usb 1-2: string descriptor 0 read error: -110

I've tried both slots and restarted several times.  I've also tried my
USB drive and it can't see it either when trying to mount it on
/dev/sda (which is not there).

Any ideas?
