FC3 upgrade => lost menu entries

Take a look in /etc/xdg/menus. There should be applications.menu.
Replace it with the backup, and you should have the menues back. If
there are more than one backups, just look at them - you should be able
to open them with an editor.

I had the same problem once, and that did the trick for me.
