ATI on FC3

It seems that Fedora driver for ATI (Radeon 9200 for me) support 3D 
acceleration ?

Can you confirm ?

Running :
/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/gears -delay 0 -fps -geometry 400x300+10+10

With FC2 < 100 fps.
With FC2 with ati-3.14.1 driver : 550 fps
With FC3 : 450 fps WITHOUT any ati driver.

If i'm right that mean i doesn't need to install the ATI driver.. (only 
to gain 20%, as i don't play).
