i quietly suggested something like this once upon a time, and it got
shot down pretty quickly.  i think one of the difficulties is that,
while the *initial* install can safely be called FC3, as you "yum
update", it starts to change until, at some point, can you really
technically call it FC3 anymore?

looking at it another way, if someone is running a totally up-to-date
FC2, they may find more commonality on the FC3 list than on the FC2
list.

just my $0.02 canadian (which is becoming worth more and more US$ by
the day :-)
