I don't really understand your question. Do you mean the difference
between the two yum.conf repository settings regarding the "gpgcheck"
which for the first is disabled and with the example from the
rpm.livna.org page is enabled?

This difference does not cause the error Timothy is asking for. But you
should not disable the GPG check - it is a feature for security.
