fc 3 powerdown hang

Interesting.  What does "ht" mean?  What other options does "acpi" take?
The only one I ever knew of was "off".

HI! I'm new to the list.
I had the same problem as  Rick Chen <rick chen optusnet com au> with the
FC3.
I solved the problem with:
In "grub.conf" I added to the end of the kernel line the following: acpi=ht
and I was able to shut down the computer with no problems!
