As a common rule

Novell isnt the only place where you can get this bug fixed. Since the
source is available redhat might find and resolve this problem. You
should always file a bug to bugzilla.redhat.com before asking for
ideas in the mailing list. Morever If you really want to consider
switching over to another program I recomend thunderbird or balsa
