Dump/restore

Nothing in /dev/mapper. It may do it if i chose to let the disk mount
the partition, but that getting away from what I'm trying to do. With
dump/restore we usually mount the partition we are dumping to and once
that is mounted we dump the entire partition from the other drive to the
mounted partition we are in. Do you this I should reinstall with the old
way of partitioning? I still have no idea why Fedora is confusing people
with LVM's.
