Changing the below line in /etc/modprobe.conf  
alias scsi_hostadapter1 megaraid -> alias scsi_hostadapter1
megaraid_mbox allows mkinitrd to create an image with the 'new'
megaraid drivers. I haven't tested the result, but maybe some can give
it a try on a non-critical system. Remember to change it back to the
original line when  you want to boot a kernel with a megaraid.ko
driver. CAREFULL NOT TESTED, this is just a suggestion.
