I don't ordinarily do this; I did this time to illustrate a point.

kmail allos an author to mark the relevant text and then click "reply."

That is what I did in this instacne, nd as you can see all I have here is the 
text I selected. No additional pruning required.

tbird, Moz and E don't do this (I've just been testing E on Nahant 1).
