Apology for not replying to original thread

First of all I apologize for not replying to the original message I
created.  I ended up re-installing FC3 and getting back to the point to
where I was before I started trying to install the NVIDIA drivers for my
Inspiron 8600.  I have tried all the recommendations to get it to work
after the install of the original NVIDIA install itself.  I tried the
"rhgb" and edited the xorg.conf file. I was able to start up X when I
boot up at run level 3 but that again caused the laptop locks  from
firefox to everything else.  Sorry if I am repeating myself.  So at this
point I am officially stuck.  All suggestions comments or advice is
welcome.....
