How to share a common partition as home

Hello!

I thank Mr.Gerry, Mr.Paul Howarth, Mr.John Summerfield who answered my  
question on the above beyond doubt..

I am sorry I left it to readerś imagination that I used same user-names on  
all the distros. But it didn't occur to me UID (numbers) which are really  
diffrent from fedora to SUSE to Knoppix could get in the way.
