Spa,Assassin is slow.
It doesn't max out your cpu, but it also doesn't do things in parallel which would max out your cpu - but get the job done a lot faster.

I like it, I use it, but it is slow.

Filter for spam after you filter everything else, and tell your other filters to stop processessing once they filter a message. That helps some.
