STMP and Evolution Problem

Hey 

When you set up evolution you are using SMTP?  All of your server settings
are correct?  Have you verified server settings with your ISP?

Hey guys, 

I am having a problem with evoution it allows me to receive mails from my
server using pop3 but when it is time to send out outgoing mails nothing
happens via STMP any ideas as to what to do? It just seems to freeze and den
i have to press close to cancel the tasks
