problems trying to get Xorg to configure my mouse

I ram Xorg -configure to to generate my configuration file.  It however cannot detect my mouse.  The system see my mouse; I am able to use setup to configure it.  What do I need to put om xorg.conf to make this work. I have a logictech m n:m-saw34 standard 2 buttom mouse.
