importing tracks from ipod into rhytmbox

I'm trying to get rhytmbox to read my songs from my ipod but whe I do
the import I get

rhythmbox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.8/libgstfaad.so:
undefined symbol: NeAACDecOpen

Any ideas?
