firestarter 1.0 throws missing file errors

Hello list;
  I just now upgraded firestarter to the 1.0 rpm.
I now get : 
Error reading /proc/net/ip_conntrack: No such file or directory
Error reading /proc/net/ip_conntrack: No such file or directory

repeated forever.

ls -l /proc
dr-xr-xr-x   5 root    root            0 Nov 28 18:26 net
 
ls /proc/net/ip*  -l
-r--r--r--  1 root root 0 Nov 28 18:37 /proc/net/ip6_flowlabel
-r--r--r--  1 root root 0 Nov 28 18:37 /proc/net/ip_mr_cache
-r--r--r--  1 root root 0 Nov 28 18:37 /proc/net/ip_mr_vif
-r--r--r--  1 root root 0 Nov 28 18:37 /proc/net/ip_tables_matches
-r--r--r--  1 root root 0 Nov 28 18:37 /proc/net/ip_tables_names

Sure enough the file is not there.
Should I create it?
