REV drive as backup corrupted....

It's not really any help to you but I have been using a REV USB external for 
about a month now without problems. My system is FC2 with a RYO 2.6.6 SMP 
kernel and I use dar (highly recommended) to perform nightly backups. As yet 
I have had no need to reformat.
