basic installation problem

This is governed by the BIOS manufacturer. This is usually accomplished
by pressing the delete key while the system is POST'ing (during boot
up).

However some systems use F2.. Just depends on the BIOS manufacturer. You
can usually find instructions for this while the PC is POST'ing...

i.e.   "Press DELETE to enter setup"

All else fails look at the motherboard documentation.
