I cannot start xpdf

Up to this point it seems harmless. I get the same Warning when I start xpdf.

This is the main problem and it is X Server Fonts related. Do you have
'xfs' running?
What does 

chkfontpath -l

give? What does

grep 'FontPath' /etc/X11/xorg.conf

give?
