OK - moving forward with setting up this system, I've hit another wall. I have defined a smart-host for sendmail, either by name or IP - it doesn't seem to make any difference. I can use nslookup to correctly lookup the smarthost, but sendmail shows all the messages as deferred due to host lookup failure. Any ideas ? Jonathan
