Kernel warning about CPU frequency

Any idea what this log message is?

    Warning: CPU frequency out of sync: cpufreq and timing core thinks of
    600000, is 1600000 kHz.

I'm running kernel-2.6.8-1.521 on a Thinkpad T41.
