One of the main arguments on this thread has been that you categorically do 
*not* need to do this. After all, one of the first things you *should* do 
after an install is make sure that you have updated your system so that it is 
patched and as secure as possible at that point. This will often involve a 
kernel update, and at this point any included kernel-source rpm becomes 
useless to you.
in any case, whether you choose to do this or not, all you need to do to get 
the kernel source for your current kernel version is:
up2date --get-source kernel-version
or to update the kernel *and* download the appropriate sources:
up2date -u --src kernel

so, out of interest, what is it exactly that the default FC2 kernel does not 
provide you with that you need?
how do you keep up wiht kernel security errata?
patch and rebuild?
