Fatal X server error.....

hi there:

while trying to set up the dual display with my FC2 on a toshiba laptop
(trident cyberbladeXPAi1 video card), i got the following error message and
X could not start at all.

Fatal server error:
Requested Entity already in use!

i am not quite sure what it means (it seems that the driver of the video
card don't like been called twice) and where to look for information to
solve it, can anyone help?

Ps, on my laptop, there is a shortcut key combo to switch between the LCD,
VGA and LCD+VGA (mirror display only). This key combo works in FC2, which
means that the video card is ok. But how would I get X to configure
correctly?
