HowTO Change/Delete Gnome Menu Items

/usr/share/applications
/etc/X11/applnk/  <----- and subfolders
/usr/share/gnome/vfolders <--- for the directory entries themselves

make sure you backup everything before you alter them because
unfortunatelly there is no gui for that job!
