MPlayer and Windows Media videos--sound, but no picture!

Have you downloaded the file and tried to run in terminal mode?

Do you get a seg fault?

I have tried everything and I find that some WM files always seg 
fault.  I have tried the pre-link solution with no success unless I 
keep doing something wrong.
