I went to the 2.6.9 kernel because it had a fix for the memory leak that
stopped audio CD's from being burnt properly. Then I rebuilt the cdrtools
by downloading the sources from Joerg Schillings site and applying a patch
I found after a quick google on the net. CD burning works very well now.
