audacity segfaults on FC2

Got feedback from the audacity-list:

"... enabled playback during recording, the recorded track gets
garbled and sounds like from a sci-fi movie..."

"This is a known bug on systems with ALSA drivers.  You can work around
the bug by setting Audacity to record in stereo instead of mono."
